The Mask

Life just keeps teaching you things huh?

I was talking to my akka, a v close friend of mine, with whom I philosophize life and its events. We shared many of our observations and compared notes.

I learnt that people change after marriage. Well, on the arrival of a soulmate life definitely changes and so does one's perspective.

I've seen some relatives who become extremely confident after marriage. To the point of being a lil arrogant. They derive great stength from the mere feeling that they are now a reinforced self. Its only natural, I realize.

There are a class of people who relish giving and a class who relish taking, not in a selfish way but predominantly in the same attitude as a child which demands without thinking what its doing. It demands attention and every other action has this primary element as the root.

I realized that people wear masks mostly. They tend to show you wat you want to see , rather than what they are. There's a personality and there's a character.i.e, everyone is 2-dimentional I Guess. Personality mask shows up friendliness, smiles and confidence and the character is a little different.Am not going to judge the correctness of things here. I never will. But am just learning.People are the product of their past circumstances and hence they form certain layers. Nothing wrong about it.But I think its good to introspect once in a while and do self-surgery to remedy impeding and unwanted masks. Its applicable to me as well.
Well, Life just keeps teaching you things huh?
